Open to general scholarly research within the broad field of humanities and analytical studies
The Journal of Humanities and Analytical Studies welcomes original, rigorous scholarly research spanning the humanistic disciplines and their methodological intersections — from literary criticism and historical inquiry to philosophy, cultural studies, and the analytical frameworks shaping contemporary human thought.
Research in world history, historiography, archival and primary source analysis, social and cultural history, intellectual history, and the methodological debates shaping historical inquiry across periods and regions.
Scholarly inquiry in moral and political philosophy, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, continental and analytic traditions, and the application of critical theory to cultural, social, and ethical questions.
Research in literary criticism and theory, comparative literature, linguistics, discourse analysis, media and cultural studies, postcolonial thought, and the humanistic study of narrative, representation, and meaning.
Cross-domain inquiry applying analytical methods to humanistic questions — including digital humanities, cognitive approaches to culture, science and technology studies, ethics of emerging fields, and interdisciplinary human inquiry.
The Journal of Humanities and Analytical Studies is a student-led peer-reviewed publication operated under Institut de Recherche COSMILAR. We accept original, unpublished research contributions from emerging scholars across all areas of humanities and human inquiry.
All submissions undergo a structured blind peer-informed editorial review process. Authors are expected to adhere to established standards of academic integrity, methodological rigor, and citation practice. Submissions must be original works not currently under review elsewhere.
Manuscripts may be submitted on a rolling basis. Authors will receive acknowledgment within 10 business days and a review decision within 45–60 days of receipt. Accepted papers will be published in the next available volume of the journal.
We welcome both interpretive and analytical contributions. Research that applies rigorous methodology to humanistic or cultural questions, or that bridges disciplinary traditions in novel ways, is especially encouraged.
Rolling submissions open. Blind peer-informed editorial review.
